Director, Ecosystem Partnerships

About Rally: Rally is a community-run network that enables creators, artists, celebrities, communities and brands to launch their own social tokens and NFTs. Rally leverages blockchain technology to offer creator communities a new form of support that removes the need for gatekeepers. We've been helping a variety of creators and brands launch their own social tokens, which are branded cryptocurrencies that work across all platforms. These tools are creator-controlled and owned (Rally takes no fees), and allow for new monetization opportunities and fan experiences. Many of our creators are already earning tens of thousands of dollars in monthly income.
As the Director of Ecosystem Partnerships, you will own the growth of our expert ecosystem, with a dual focus on recruitment and engagement. Your job will be to define our strategic roadmap for growing our ecosystem of community / 3rd party developers, creative agencies and studios, community managers, content creators, PR professionals, tokenized economy consultants and other experts who can support our creators in launching, growing and sustaining vibrant creative economies with their Creator Coin. Our vision is that any creator will be able to self-serve with the building blocks they need at any given time, and this ecosystem is what makes that vision possible. You will work cross-functionally with our Creator Partnerships, Insights, Community and Product teams and together we will build a vibrant ecosystem that unlocks scaleable, self-sustaining success for creators.
The ideal candidate has significant experience in new business development, scaled relationship management, and is knowledgeable of Web 3.0 and/or crypto product development workflows. As Rally is a fast-growing project, we expect that this role will evolve over time.
Drive strategy for ecosystem development that is aligned with the needs of our creator community, complementary to our product roadmap, and supports business KPIs
Develop and manage new ecosystem relationships, from research through contract, to ongoing relationship management.
Evangelize developers to creators / fans and highlight wins in partnership with Rally’s PR and Marketing teams
Work cross functionally to source insights, define use cases, and develop new partnership targets
Support scaled relationship management with content, tools, resources, products and other activities
Work cross functionally as a liaison between our 1st party and 3rd party developers to define use cases to pitch and contract out to dev ecosystem and to engage developers on contract projects, handling everything from project scoping through launch and ongoing maintenance
Skills and Experience:
5-10 years of experience in business development and partner management
Ability to develop, review and negotiate complex contracts and familiarity with standard deal structures.
Significant experience working within the creative economy, a creative agency, or a tech startup.
Experience with crypto and/or tokenized economies is highly desirable
Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal skills essential
Strong project management ability, with demonstrated ability to define and execute against a roadmap
Experience at an early stage company is highly desirable.
Experience as part of a fully remote team is desirable but not required.
